BANDARA RESORT AND SPA, SAMUI

I was visiting Ko Samui for the first time and was glad to have the newly-built Bandara Resort and Spa for my accommodation.

Opening in April, this Thai-owned luxurious resort sits on a 15-rai plot by the white sandy beach of Bophut on the northern fringes of Samui island.

It consists of 124 hotel-style rooms and 28 cottages. All of them are very well equipped and decorated, reflecting the owner's intention to provide guests with high quality accommodation.

Room rates range from 5,500-12,000 baht per night and seem justified given the atmosphere, facilities and services on offer.

All in all, this lush resort seemed like a paradise and I am sure others, especially honeymoon couples, will find it the same.
