Big field for PIMEX

Phuket International Marine Expo (PIMEX) will run December 8-11 at the Boat Lagoon.

Organised by Image Asia, the third edition of the waterside boat show has attracted 100 local and international exhibitors and will feature at least 20 on-water displays. Superb luxury yachts, charter boats, and latest marine equipment will be showcased.

Exhibitors include companies from Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Indonesia. Australia, France, Germany, Italy, the UK, the US, New Zealand, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand.

Boat displays include a new model Jeanneau power boat from Lee Marine, while the hugely popular X2K from Derani Yachts and the novel Speed Needle from Germany are returning. A demonstration model of the Speed Needle will be on hand for enthusiasts keen to try its power and performance.

Last year PIMEX attracted 4,000 visitors from throughout the region. The show is open 10am-6pm. Entry fee is 200 baht for adults, children under 10 are allowed free.
