Boat racing in Ayutthaya

The 18th International Swan Boat Race will be held at Bang Sai Royal Folk Arts & Crafts Centre, Ayutthaya, from September 10-11. The races are divided into 22-, 30- and 55-men categories. Entry is free.

The action will feature on www.tat.or.th/festival on September 10 from 9am-5pm, and the following day it will be broadcast live on Channel 11 starting 4pm.

Apart from the races, there's a pool of freshwater fish, a bird sanctuary, the Silpa-cheep centre, and the Kuan Yin shrine for visitors to admire. The Bang Pa In royal summer palace is another attraction.
