Located right in the heart of Sukhumvit area, the Montira Spa is recommended for residents in the area and office workers who need stress-relief treatment but have little time to spare.

The facility comprises seven full-service massage rooms and one hydrotherapy unit. The array of services include oil massage, traditional Thai massage, reflexology, facial care and body treatments.

I tried one of the spa's best choices, the "Montira Massage" which combines the use of traditional techniques and essential oils. The selection of oils depends on each customer's needs.

Most treatments at this place last al least an hour but if you are still short on time, the "Anti-stress Massage" is a decent option. Focusing on the back, neck and shoulders, the treatment lasts only half and hour. For those who do not feel comfortable having to go naked with the therapist in the room, the spa has come up with the "Hydro Bath" programme in which there is only you in a specifically-designed bathtub equipped with high-powered water jets that do the job of a skillful therapist. The water pressure is your call.

Prices for the treatments range from 600 to 2,000 baht. Customers can have a pre-massage consultation before choosing the treatment.
